The sounds of bingo calls, the lights of the Ferris wheel, and the smell of fried food announced to the community that the York Springs annual carnival was back again this month.
Running July 21 through July 24, the annual festival saw the return of classics such as full-sized rides and games, hindered last year due to COVID-19.
A host of dinner options were served including pot pie and chicken platters in the dining hall as well as hot sausages on the fair grounds.
Fireworks exalted the celebration Friday at 10 p.m.
