Membership prices for the YWCA Gettysburg & Adams County outdoor pool, located at 730 Chambersburg Rd. in Gettysburg will remain the same for 2020 as they were in 2019.
The pool will open on Memorial day weekend, Saturday May 23rd, and will remain open until September 21.
Pool hours have been moved slightly earlier, from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. After Labor Day, the pool will have limited hours of 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Daily passes for non-members are available for $8.00. Children under 13 pay $5.00 per day, and infants under three years of age swim for free.
The Y has announced a new evening rate of $5.00 for adults, valid 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. daily.
Aquatics Director Mark Mellon said the staffing at the pool will increase this year to include one front desk clerk and three guards.
There are two pools available – one for children and one for lap swim and adults.
The pool is available for party rentals.
The Y is looking for lifeguards. If you are interested you can sign up for the Red Cross training program.
