Located at 17 Lincoln Square basement, the Waldo’s and Company coffee bar has eliminated plastic straws and made agave straws available upon patrons’ request. Waldo’s uses paper shopping bags, compostable cups, wooden stir sticks and bamboo to-go spoons. Gettysburg Rising commends Waldo’s for their efforts to “rise above plastic” by taking these practical steps to reduce patron’s exposure to single-use plastic and provide a more healthful and sustainable beverage experience. We encourage folks to visit Waldo’s and thank them for their commitment to sustainability, as well as to the arts!
