All library materials have an extended due date of April 16th and this date will be moved as necessary.  Nothing is due during the closure and no fees will accumulate.

While the physical branches of the Adams County Library System remain closed, people are encouraged to use the digital branch.

You can start using these materials immediately by applying for an Adams County Library Card online. Your new barcode will be sent by email so that it can be used immediately. The library card will be sent by mail at a later date.

The cloudLibrary has a wide selection of ebooks and eaudiobooks,

Freegal Music gives you access to hundreds of thousands of songs in the Sony Music catalog, and Flipster gives you instant access to magazines you know and love!

The elibrary database provides access to resources including opportunities to learn a language with Mango languages, visit inspiring cultural heritages from European museums, galleries, libraries, and archives with Europeana, or begin a family genealogy with Heritage Quest.

Also check out the database for Bookflix and PowerLibrary for your children

The items in the database is huge, but you can sort the list using filters.

The Adams County Library System will continue to try to find ways to serve the community during this time of “social distancing”!
