Miranda Lambert twirled a no-hitter for the Colonials as they edged Littlestown. Lambert walked just one while striking out eight. Her battery mate, catcher Leah Noel, knocked in the lone run of the game in the fourth inning. The Colonials’ six hits were collected by six different players off Littlestown’s hard-luck losing pitcher Ashlynn Gorsuch, who struck out eight and didn’t walk a batter.

Southwestern 16 Gettysburg 1
Southwestern | 6 | 9 | 1 | 16 | 17 | 0 |
Gettysburg | 1 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 1 | 2 |
It took Southwestern only three innings to close things out at Gettysburg on Thursday. The Mustangs pounded out 17 hits, including three home runs. Shortstop Katelyn Keller homered in the bottom of the first for the Warriors providing what was to be their only hit and run of the truncated day.

I don’t always see these posts, but it’s the first I have seen Berm’s tennis scores. I hope to see more. Thanks for your reporting.
