Adams County residents have voted overwhelmingly for Republican candidates in the 2024 election, helping Donald Trump flip the state to the Republican column.
According to the elections office, over 45 percent of registered voters cast votes.

By big margins, voters supported Trump and Vance over Harris and Walz for President, McCormick over Casey in the State Senate race, Sunday over DePasquale for Attorney General, DeFoor over Kenyatta for Auditor General, Garrity over McClelland for Treasurer, Joyce over Farnham for U.S. Representative, and Mastriano over Schroy for State Senator.
These races, with the exception of Casey vs. McCormick which is still too close to call, have all been called for Republicans.
Representative in the General Assembly 91st District Dan Moul ran unopposed as did Representative in the General Assembly 193rd District Torren Ecker.
What motivates people through time to voluntarily end their experiments with democracy? What motivated the Ancient Greeks and Romans? What motivated the citizens of Weimar Germany? What motivates the modern-day citizens of Hungary and Hong Kong? Do humans have an irresistible drive to be led and dominated? How would Lincoln address the consequences of the 2024 election if he were teleported today to address a group of Harris supporters at Gettysburg? Which candidate carried Gettysburg, by the way?
Should remember Lincoln was a Republican. And also remember this country is a Republic.
Great Job Adams county!
