Forty and Eight Veterans Club Sells Christmas Trees to Benefit Nurses

It does not seem there could be a more relevant mission this year than to fund scholarships to train nurses.

And with many people staying home, the need for Christmas trees is great.

Members of the Forty and Eight service club are meeting both goals in Gettysburg, selling trees in the parking lot near the Gettysburg Tour Center in the 700 block of Baltimore Pike east of town.

The trees are $50.00, delivered to your door.

All of the profits go to scholarships for nursing students.

“The students we have supported in the past are here this year buying trees from us,” said Tom Knox, a member of the charitable group.
