Gettysburg National Park Visitor Center to Close Until April 1, 2020. Battlefield to Remain Accessible

The Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center will temporarily close Tuesday, March 17 through Tuesday, March 31, 2020. This is a precautionary measure to limit the health risks associated with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) based on the guidance of state and federal officials. The battlefield will remain accessible.

All Gettysburg Foundation and Gettysburg National Military Park events and programs scheduled during this time are canceled. The health and well-being of our visitors and community come first, and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Museum & Visitor Center in the near future.

Currently, the Museum & Visitor Center is scheduled to reopen at 8:00 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2020. However, we will continually evaluate the situation, taking into account guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Pennsylvania Department of Public Health, and state and federal officials.

Guests with tickets for the Film, Cyclorama & Museum Experience, battlefield tour packages, shuttles to Eisenhower National Historic Site, the David Wills House, group reservations or special events during the closure period may reschedule their visits for a later date or receive a full refund.
