Gettysburg Police Department
The Gettysburg Police Department has a time honored tradition of protecting and serving our community of over 7,600 residents, over 2,500 college students and over 2 million visitors a year from around the world. Our dedicated team of 10 full time officers and several part-time officers with an administrative officer are second to none. While our department is small our experience is wide spread with officers who have lived in Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
We work a two Squad system, each with a Sergeant and four Patrolmen. We have one Administrator and one Criminal Investigator along with our Chief. We also have several Auxiliary Officers for special events and two administrative volunteers.
If you need to talk to or see an officer dial 911 for emergencies or 717-334-8101 for non-emergencies. For administrative calls dial 717-334-1168 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday, not including holidays.
Address: 59 E. High St. Gettysburg
Telephone: 717.334.1168

How do we make an online report when we can’t access the portal (form)? When I try to go to the page, I get the message “Access Not Authorized” but the GPD page has a link to file an online report.
