The Adams County Planting Partnership’s Fall 2024 seedling distribution is almost here, and they still need volunteers to help label, sort, and send home the nearly 8,000 seedlings to be given away later this month. This is an entirely volunteer-run initiative, and without you, we simply can’t make it work. Lend a couple of hours—you can sign up at https://www.adamswatersheds.org/volunteer. It’s a lot of work, but it’s fun, and snacks are provided.
Here’s the volunteer schedule:
Wednesday, Oct. 16, 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m.: Label and sort the seedlings.
Thursday, Oct. 17, 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (if necessary): If we still have work to do, we’ll use this time to finish labeling and sorting the seedlings.
Friday, Oct. 18: 11:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m.: Distribute seedlings.
Saturday, Oct. 19: 8:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Distribute seedlings.
