After a month off, the Adams County Farmers Market came back to life yesterday with a a crowed and lively mix of food, produce, crafts, music, and more at the market’s site near the old railroad station in Gettysburg.
Parking was in short supply in the late morning as hundreds swarmed the booths and then headed into town to enjoy the first weekend of the annual Christmas Festival.
Market Manager Reza Djalal said there were over 30 vendors represented, which gave the fair a European street market feel with jewelry, clothing, and other wares on display.
The ambiance and turnout was helped by a sunny December day in the 50s.
And Santa seemed to be enjoying himself.
The popup market will return next Saturday morning.

The pop-up market was absolutely delightful! I loved the live music and ambiance – it reminded me of a place like Seattle or San Francisco, just a classy, diverse experience…free parking and great weather always help! Cheers to Reza (and maybe Waldo on this last one…)
