Gettysburg Rising is hosting a free candidate forum on April 3rd from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Gettysburg YMCA so that voters can make informed choices in the May 20 Primary Election.
Seven candidates have confirmed their attendance. Chad-Alan Carr, currently serving as Borough Council Member At Large, will be introducing his platform for Mayor from 7 – 7:30 pm, with time allotted for questions from the audience. The incumbent, Mayor Frealing, is not available that night, but has been encouraged to have a representative read a statement from her so that voters can give her their consideration as well.
Julieta Booz, Dale Brennan, Donna Harrison, Kathleen Pratt, Justine Sieg and Char Weise, all of whom are running for GASD School Board, will each provide a brief introduction to their candidacy from 7:30-8:00 pm, followed by a thirty minute question and answer session.
