Born May 3, 1932 in Gettysburg, PA he was the son of the late Loring V. and Elsie V. (Shartiger) Keller. He was the husband of Janice M. (Lescalleet) Keller of Gettysburg to whom he was married to for 68 years.
Mr. Keller was a member of St. Maryâs Catholic Church, Fairfield, PA. He was a lifelong farmer and a life member of the Young Farmerâs Association. He served as Highland Township Supervisor for many years. He was a member of the Fairfield Amvets and a life member of the Adams County Fish & Game. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by his 10 children, Carl Keller, Jr. and his wife Cindy, of Gettysburg, Christina Baker and her husband Robert, of Gettysburg, Michael Keller and his wife Cathy, of Gettysburg, Louise Bivens, of Indiana, PA, Phillip Keller and his wife Dawn, of Gettysburg, Gary Keller and his wife Tammy, of Fairfield, Jeffrey Keller and his wife Dixie, of Gettysburg, Brenda McDannell and her husband Calvin, of Gettysburg, Daniel Keller and his wife Robin, of Orrtanna, Douglas Keller, of Gettysburg, 25 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, his two sisters, Irene Steinberger, of Chambersburg, Joan Swanger and her husband William, of Hanover, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Dillon.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM, Friday, February 9, 2024 at St. Maryâs Catholic Church, 256 Tract Rd., Fairfield, PA with Fr. Peter DiTomasso Celebrant.
