arlene May (Shultz) Miller, 83 of Gettysburg, PA passed away on Friday, February 2, 2024 at The Gardens Nursing Center in Gettysburg. Born September 18, 1940 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Lester & Ruth (Speelman) Shultz. Darlene was predeceased by her husband, George Robert Miller, who died in 2003. She was a 1958 graduate of Gettysburg High School. Darlene & George owned and operated Gettysburg One Hour Cleaners for 40 years and George’s Cabaret. She was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed watching her three grandchildren. Darlene is survived by her two children, Judy L. Miller of Upper Marlboro, MD and Tony R. Miller of Lancaster, PA, three grandchildren, Kayla Williams (Michael Moritz) Courtney Williams and Montana Miller (Erin), one great grandson, Javon Joyner, Jr., a brother, Rick Shultz of Orrtanna, PA, two sisters, Kim Fitz of Fairfield, PA and Sandy Kint of Orrtanna and a number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Ron Shultz. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2:00-3:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service in Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens.
