Born March 12, 1930 in Laredo, TX, he was the son of the late Nikolas and Josephine Karabanoff. He was the husband of Elizabeth (Mattes) Karabanoff, of Ellicott City, MD to whom he was married for 54 years.
Mr. Karabanoff was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. After his discharge he worked with the U.S. Customs at BWI Airport. He was an avid snow skier, gymgoer and in his younger years enjoyed skydiving. He loved spending time with family and friends as well as listening to Frank Sinatra and jazz whenever he got the chance.
In addition to his wife, George is survived by his son, Nick Karabanaoff, daughter-in-law Brittany, two granddaughters, Cameron & Demi and his beloved dog Linus.
A memorial service will be held at the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ellicott City, MD on Saturday 1/14 at 11AM . Burial with full military honors will be in the Garrison Forest National Cemetery in Owings Mills, MD.
