He was born November 21, 1946 in York, PA the son of the late George and Ethel Foller Smith. Jim is survived by his wife, Anna Nicholas Smith.
Jim was a veteran of the US Air Force serving in Vietnam. For 23 years he was employed at Bon Ton Foods in York until his retirement. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was a member of the Yellow Breeches Anglers Association and COPA.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by a step-son, Jeffrey Kope of York, PA, a brother, David Smith of Dover, PA , a sister, Sandra Seaton and her husband Anthony of Dover, PA and a nephew, Chad Smith and his wife Julie Smith of Dover.
The family will receive friends at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg, PA on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
