John R. “Bud” Shelleman, Jr., Biglerville, PA, passed away suddenly on Sunday, June 28, 2026, outside Baltimore, MD.
He was born January 10, 1984, in Gettysburg, PA, the son of John R. and Katherine Owens Shelleman, Sr. of Biglerville, PA.
John attended Gettysburg High School. He began his career in the concrete business along with his father with Joe Miller Concrete Company and later worked at various other companies in the area. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. He had two loves: anything with two wheels and went fast and loud, and loud music and dancing. He loved his family and was protective of them. He would do anything for anyone.
In addition to his parents, John is survived by two daughters: Skye Shelleman of Orrtanna, PA, and Layla Shelleman of Waynesboro, PA; and two sisters: Amanda Reed and her husband John Scott of Biglerville, PA; and Cassie Shelleman and her husband Jason Flynt of Hagerstown, MD.
A Celebration of John’s Life will take place at a later date.
