Phyllis A. Baumgardner, 94, of Spring Grove, passed away Saturday, May 30, 2026, at The Gardens at Gettysburg. She was the loving wife of the late LeRoy A. Baumgardner, Sr.

Born February 26, 1932, in Silver Run, MD, she was the daughter of the late Raymond A. and Annie (Krumrine) Bittle.

Phyllis was a 1950 graduate of Littlestown High School and was a member of Christ Church, Littlestown. She was a bundle carrier and mail room supervisor at the Hanover Evening Sun for many years.

She is survived by her children, LeRoy A. Baumgardner and wife Gail, Spring Grove, Joey Baumgardner and wife Leslie, Hanover, and Robert Baumgardner and wife Susie, Gladstone, VA; sister, Anna Crabill, Gettysburg; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, great, great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

A Private Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
