Bob graduated from Francis Scott Key High School, Union Bridge, MD, and owned a lawn mower repair shop. He was previously employed with Schindler Elevator, Gettysburg and ESAB, Hanover. In Bob’s free time, he enjoyed drag racing, dirt track racing, and working on classic cars. Bob was always known to have a smile on his face and strike up a conversation with everyone. His daughter, Brittany, always joked that he couldn’t go anywhere without knowing someone. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his grandchildren, especially watching them play sports.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by his daughter, Brittany Spangler-Schue (Kevin), Littlestown; sisters, Patricia Cox and Debra Lowman (Wayne), both of Maryland, and two grandchildren, Ayden Spangler and Haisley Schue; multiple nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family will receive friends and share memories on Tuesday from 10 AM until the start of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private in Mountain View Cemetery, Harney, MD at a later date.
