Obituary: Timothy J. “Tim” Klunk

Timothy J. “Tim” Klunk, 72 of Gettysburg, PA, died suddenly at his home on Wednesday, June 17, 2026.

Born October 10, 1953, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Charmaine L. (Smeak) Klunk of Hanover, PA, and the late Reuel Leo Klunk. Tim is survived by his wife, Yvonne M. (Mummert) Klunk. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Vietnam War. Tim was a member of the Teamsters Union and was a truck driver for his career. His memberships included the Hanover Moose and Gettysburg Eagles.

One of Tim’s pleasures was sitting on his porch swing and watching the sunset.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Gina Kanouse (Patrick) of Westfield, IN and Matthew Klunk (Nichole) of Paoli, IN, a grandson, Raleigh Klunk, step-daughter, Tracy Green (Travis) of Gettysburg, two step-grandchildren, Hannah and Bailey Green, four siblings, Christin Rudisill (Doug) of Gettysburg, Richard Klunk (Becky) of Dayton, TN, Delores Turner (Robert) of Sun City Center, FL and Andrew Klunk (Sandy) of Hanover, PA and a number of nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. Tim was predeceased by three siblings, Teresa Amspacher, Ronald Klunk, and Agnes Wagaman, and a step-granddaughter, Stephanie “Cian” Green.
