A highlight of the evening was the awarding of the annual “Living The Dream” Award. Every year, the YWCA Gettysburg Adams County and the United Way of Adams County co-sponsor the Living the Dream award to honor a local resident who lives out Dr. King’s ideals. This year’s recipient is Rev. David Roberts, Pastor at Amos Tabernacle Church of God in Christ. Pastor Roberts was nominated by Ms. Jane Nutter.

Congratulations Dave. A well deserved honor for my old friend who has been walking the walk for many years.
