Carr for Mayor
Editor, Gettysburg Times,
I endorse Chad-Alan Carr for mayor of Gettysburg because he has proven himself to be someone who makes things happen. For nearly twenty years he has benefited our community through the Gettysburg Community Theatre, a non-profit that provides theater entertainment and education to all ages and abilities. He began the Gettysburg Pride Festival, an event that grows each year and provides an environment of welcoming and celebration for many. He understands the importance of creating opportunities for those around him, and I know he would continue to do so as our mayor. He is not a passive participant, but rather an active leader.
Carr has proven his willingness to work alongside others, both through his role on the Gettysburg borough council and by fostering relationships with local businesses. He understands that it takes everyone working together to move our town forward, and he values the role that each individual and entity plays in that process. He is dedicated to our town and is willing to do the work to make it an even better, stronger community.

I have reviewed this candidate’s platform on his website (chad-alancarrmayor.com), and I encourage you to do the same. Carr believes everyone should be engaged in their local government and is happy to talk to anyone who reaches out. He can be contacted directly at ChadAlanCarrForMayor@gmail.com.
Thank you,
Siri Phelps,
