Supports Chad-Alan Carr for Gettysburg mayor

As a long time resident of Gettysburg Borough, I am convinced that supporting Chad-Alan Carr to be our next mayor is the right thing to do. Gettysburg Borough residents have many concerns, issues and complaints. I would like to address the three I think stand out most.

Transparency: Too often over the years it has been difficult to understand certain decisions or stances taken by the Borough Council. A leader that is not only a recognizable figure but also a proven leader and/or advocate for the residents is a huge asset. Chad-Alan has exhibited these abilities.

Accessibility: The Borough website offers a lot of resources, yet sometimes it is difficult to find a direct answer to a given question. Through personal experience, I have found Chad-Alan is more than happy to discuss questions/concerns of mine. When he began this campaign for the primary election, I reached out through an email and ultimately shared a coffee at a local coffee shop with him, where he answered the initial questions I had and more.

The ability to think out of the box: Times are changing. One quarter into the 21st century has taught those of us who have traversed that time period, that things are simply not the same. Through technology, current events, natural disasters, as well as changing opinions on what our iconic town should or should not be, we need a leader who will be able to adapt to this ever-changing scenario.

My full support of Chad-Alan Carr is not just for now. If elected, once he takes office, he will continue to have my support.
