I am supporting Chad-Alan Carr for Mayor of Gettysburg.
In the past month, I’ve had the opportunity to hear presentations by both Chad-Alan and the current mayor. It is now clear to me that our community would best be served by a change of leadership.
Chad-Alan has a proven track record of active community involvement for almost two decades. He is a well-respected, effective, and collaborative current member of our Borough Council. He created and has grown the thriving non-profit Gettysburg Community Theater, which benefits our entire community, including businesses, older adults, children, and those with special needs. He founded Gettysburg Pride, an annual event which benefits locals, visitors, and local businesses alike.
In his active commitment to the borough, Chad-Alan brings energy, an understanding of the intricacies of our town, and the ability to connect people effectively. I’ve witnessed his ability to convey his ideas, to invite questions, to carefully listen to constituents’ concerns, and to respond to concerns respectfully, openly, and knowledgeably. He communicates a clear vision for our town and what changes he believes could make it an even better place to live and to visit.
