I am writing to express my strong support for my friend Rita Frealing, candidate for Mayor of
Gettysburg.
I’ve known Rita since our early days reporting news for WHP-TV, serving central Pennsylvania. She
was an inspired journalist who covered many areas, including city, county, and state politics. Rita
gathered, wrote, and delivered her stories with confidence, accuracy, and above all, objectivity.
She has always been a dedicated and loyal person who later left journalism to study law and become a
lawyer—another testament to her drive, intellect, and commitment to serving the public good.
Rita Frealing will bring integrity, energy, and fairness to the office of Mayor. I have every confidence
she will serve the people of Gettysburg with honesty and compassion.
