“The People Project” will be performed on Wednesday, March 4 and Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m. in the Stevens Theatre, Brua Hall, Gettysburg College.

Admission is free and the performance is open to the public, but seating is limited. Please call (717) 337-6060 to reserve your seat at the show.
“The People Project” is a collaborative, original performance presenting personal accounts of discrimination experienced by Adams County residents. The performance will take the audience on a journey that celebrates diversity and fosters empathy and connection.
“I am thrilled with the next evolutionary step of the project, bridging the Gettysburg College Community with the greater Adams County community and getting these moving stories out to even more people,“ said project director Lisa Cadigan.
The cast includes residents of Adams County, Gettysburg College students, and Biglerville High School students. Most are reading their own personal narratives, and some have also agreed to act out the stories.
“It is such a powerful experience to get up in front of an audience and share your own story,” said Cadigan. “I am thrilled to have a balance of stories passionately re-enacted and re-told by student and community actors alongside stories shared by their own authors. It promises to be a powerful performance.”
