The Gettysburg College Women’s Basketball Team is currently ranked in the top 20 by two different National NCAA Division 3 polls. With 19 wins in row they have the longest win streak of any team in Gettysburg College and Centennial Conference history.
If you want to see them play there are only three more home games this season. Those dates are February 12 at 6:00 p.m., February 19th at 8:00 p.m., and February 22nd at 1:00 pm.

There is no charge for admission.
Coach Nate Davis credits the success of the team to the work ethic of his players. “They love
the game,” he said, “We practice two hours a day six days a week but many of them come to the gym on their own time to work on their game.”
Practice also includes time working out and weight training during the entire school year.
Recruiting also is a factor in the team’s success. In NCAA Division 3 there are no scholarships.
Students work their athletics around their school work.
Coach Davis travels to Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) events and other high school games where he lets them know about Gettysburg and its winning basketball program. Most of his players were accepted in November, with early admission to Gettysburg.
The team is currently number one in the Centennial Conference with an excellent chance to play in the post season conference tournament.
