Ageism is one of the few discriminatory actions that is still rampant in our culture. Ageism is the discrimination against older people in all the various ways that one also discriminates against race, gender, women, and disabilities, to name a few.
Using ageist beliefs to discount President Biden is a technique used to bring out hidden prejudices and fears against older people and claiming they are unfit, just because they are at an older age. Did anyone watch the State of the Union this year with President Biden? He was vibrant, mentally alert, sharp, and an honest and viable candidate for a second term.
Few know that Biden suffered from a debilitating stutter as a child and has spent his life working to overcome it. Sometimes his pauses are purely a work to avoid a stutter. However, he is mocked as being senile and unfit for the presidency. This is simply not true. In some eighty-five-year-olds that might be true, but Biden is still doing his work daily and has great accomplishments in his first four years.
People soon forget the chaos when Biden was handed the Covid epidemic after Trump left office. Biden stepped in and made our health a priority by getting vaccines out to the people and available and provided financial assistance to the nation at a time so many had lost jobs and ability to bring in income.

gives a good set of facts with graphs comparing the Biden presidency with Trump’s presidency. It shows that under Biden, millions signed up for health care; salary increases outpaced inflation; and Biden added more than 14 million jobs. We have a robust labor market. He got a bipartisan infrastructure bill passed that was badly needed in our nation. He issued over 500 executive actions on immigration and worked to pass a bipartisan sponsored immigration bill which was scuttled by the Republicans. He is working on our critical climate change, and so much more.
The next time you stoop to using ageist comments on Biden’s age, just look at his accomplishments. Also use a reliable fact-checking website like FactCheck.org. if you have questions.
Ageism has nothing to do with Biden’s lack of ability to lead our nation. He is just plain incompetent and that has been documented so many times. He is letting America get invaded by illegal aliens and has no idea where they disappeared to. We are starting to see some of the effects now with horrendous crimes. How about terrorism? Terrorists are patient and well organized and will strike.

First time I heard political against age was against Trump But I don’t think its agism as opposed to observing a person and his actions and products.
