We have recently witnessed Elon Musk and his cronies hostile takeover of the U.S. Treasury’s formerly carefully-guarded payment systems for all departments. This action compromises the sensitive data of millions, including all people registered with Social Security.
The takeover allows an unelected billionaire a mechanism to unilaterally restrict disbursement of money approved for specific purposes by Congress. In addition to Social Security, these include programs for children and the poor, healthcare subsidies, Medicaid and much more.
Musk’s move is tantamount to a bank robbery except that the bank manager (the Trump appointee) willingly gave the vault keys to the thieves.
