Thousands of Adams County residents gathered at the Gettysburg Middle School on Thursday night to donate over a million dollars to local nonprofits at the 2019 Giving Spree — Adams County’s Annual Day of Giving. The event, sponsored by the Adams County Community Foundation, connected donors to groups and organizations that matched their charitable interests.

The Fall 2019 Adams County Municipal Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. Each of the 49 polling places around the county are open for voting from 7:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Voters will be given the opportunity to choose among state-level candidates for judge of superior, commonwealth and common pleas courts.

Lincoln Elementary school art teacher Lydia Stith brought her students and their artwork to the Adams County Farmers’ Market this morning. There were hundreds of colorful pieces on display and Stith said “almost all” of her students had come by.
