Gettysburg College Trustee Resigns as a result of Nazi photo

Bob Garthwait, a 1982 graduate of Gettysburg College, has resigned his position on the College Board of Trustees, apparently because he wore an offensive costume at a party during his sophomore year. Garthwait wore the Nazi soldier costume while attending a fraternity theme party where attendees dressed like characters from the TV show “Hogan’s Heroes.”

Help High School Students Learn about Careers at the Adams County Library – March 13, 2019

Spend Wednesday, March 13, at Gettysburg College helping the county’s high school sophomores learn about various careers. Volunteers are needed to help direct students into classrooms and buildings.
