Charles Strauss and his family have moved to a new home on West Broadway. Because the new address is in Ward 2 and he currently represents Ward 3, Strauss will be leaving the board as of July 15th. Strauss announced his resignation at last Monday’s council workshop. Strauss will remain on the borough’s planning commission.

Bob Garthwait, a 1982 graduate of Gettysburg College, has resigned his position on the College Board of Trustees, apparently because he wore an offensive costume at a party during his sophomore year. Spend Wednesday, March 13, at Gettysburg College helping the county’s high school sophomores learn about various careers. Volunteers are needed to help direct students into classrooms and buildings.
